| I didn't throw a 4" wider wheel in the back of my car. It's 2.5" wider, and the front is about 3" wider than it was. The reasoning to having a 305 up front is so that it is a close to the 355 in the rear as possible. Keeping the suspension as even as you can in my situation. Plus the difference from front to rear can be compensated for if you have all adjustable suspension pieces and I have actually already done that (with the current 285/245 setup and will for the 355/305 setup next month) and the car drives great. Having the wider tires does make it grip better with lots of hp and that can't be denied as well as help you get full benefit of having large brakes. The fronts lock up VERY easily with 245s and Stoptechs and I know the 305s should help it out considerably. The rears won't benefit as far as brakes go from the larger tires cause even with just 285 and Stoptechs in the rear, they never lock up. The rear will however help a lot when wanting to put some serious power to the ground
